New Hip Scarves are IN!!!

Wow! Thank you to all the new belly dancer as well as the teachers who directed them this way.
We have had an incredible response from all you new students.
So much so that most of our beginning hip scarves
disappeared in a flurry of shimmies and hip hits!

But now we are restocked and we even have new styles, like this one:

Lots of colors and styles to choose from:
Purple, red, blue, black, fuchsia, green, tie dye, yellow, white, multi-color, turquoise.

Next Henna Workshop

This Tuesday, February 19th - from 6 to 8pm

There is space still available!

And after that…

Wednesday, February 27th - from 6 to 8pm
Thursday, March 6th - from 6 to 8pm

Please sign up early if you want to participate.
Space is limited so everyone can get personal attention.

Come learn more about henna and get a chance to use it first hand.
Sarah will talk a little bit about henna and how to apply it,
but most of the time you will be playing with henna yourself.
Henna in applicator bottles will be available for everyone to use,
with Sarah's guidance, as well as a finishing seal to protect your new henna art.
Workshops are limited to 5 people.

Price is $18/ $15 with student ID.
Bonus - everything in the store will be 10% off for workshop participants
the evening of the event!

Artist Meet and Greet

Saturday, February 23rd from noon to 5pm

Stop by to meet some of the artists we consign in the shop.
Many artists have confirmed their presence here that day.

We will feature the following artists:

Tammy Ortegon - Prints and Greeting Cards of her paintings
Tony Thomson - Handmade soaps
Heather Lawrenz - Gemstone and silver jewelry
Bonnie Somdahl - Needle felting demonstrations, fun felted creatures and more
Brenna Fishman - Eclectic beaded earrings and bracelets

In the afternoon, we will be treated to the music of
Cindy and Charlie of Felahi.
Cindy will play drums and Charlie will accompany her
with improvised music using Middle Eastern rhythms.

Marsha of Spindler's Web will stop by with her fiddle
to liven up the place as well.

We will have snacks and drinks, along with great people.

If you are an artist interested in showing us your work,
this would also be a great time to stop by the store and meet us.

Tell your friends!
This will be a fun day.
